Honeycutt Road drivers have two more sections of daytime pavement work to plan around. Maricopa Police Department's latest public update lists micro-seal work between White and Parker Road and Rose Road for Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 17–19, followed by Porter Road to White and Parker Road on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 21–22. The announced window is approximately 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day, weather permitting. MPD's roadwork announcement
The schedule leaves Wednesday clear for school early release.
For errands and appointments, check the section as well as the date. The announcement does not provide a complete lane-by-lane traffic plan or an official detour, so this schedule should not be read as a full-road closure notice. Follow the controls posted at the work site.

Check the update before the trip
Start with the linked official announcement for changes. Because the work depends on weather, OurMaricopa's local forecast can help with planning, but a rain forecast by itself does not establish that a crew has canceled work.
The City's Street Services page places this season's broader neighborhood preservation program in the 2026–27 fiscal year, with a September start. At our Sept. 16 check, that page said detailed schedules and affected areas would be posted as available. Its tables farther down the page describe street sweeping; they are not the paving schedule.
Preservation work is meant to extend the useful life of existing streets. In its August 2025 explanation of the program, the City described using treatments such as crack sealing and surface seals before pavement deteriorates enough to require more extensive work. The neighborhood dates in that older announcement belong to the previous season.
If the trip continues out of town, check SR-347 corridor conditions separately. Our Sept. 15–18 I-10 overnight-work guide covers a different set of projects and hours.
Residents who notice a pothole or another city-street problem can use the City's Report a Problem page. It links to the street, park and code-issue reporting portal and can be used from a phone or computer. That is a service-request route, not a source of live traffic conditions.
