Maricopa parents and other adults who support young people have a local learning opportunity Tuesday evening. Maricopa Unified School District has scheduled Parent SOS — Suicide Prevention for Sept. 22, from 6 to 7 p.m., at 44150 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway.
The event appears on both the district's Parent University page and district calendar. MUSD describes Parent University as a program that gives families tools and information to support students and work with their schools. The workshop listing is marked as a community workshop.
The live event card provides the date, time, address and title. It does not state a fee, name a presenter or show a registration link, attendance limit, room number or child-care arrangement.
