The ribbon-cutting for Maricopa's new Career Access Point is now scheduled for Monday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center. The City announced the new date on its official Facebook page, inviting residents to learn about the job-search and workforce resources available through ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County. City's updated invitation
If Sept. 8 is still on your calendar, replace it. The City's original partnership announcement carries a Sept. 2 update postponing that earlier ceremony. The new invitation gives the replacement date; it does not establish a recurring schedule for career-coach appointments. Original announcement and postponement
The library is at 18160 N. Maya Angelou Drive. OurMaricopa's library listing and directions can help with the trip; the address is also confirmed on the official library page.

What the new resource is designed to do
Under the City and county partnership, trained career coaches will use the library's computers and workspace to help residents with resumes, job searches and career planning. For a Maricopa resident who needs more than a list of openings, that provides a local route to career assistance. City partnership details
Pinal County lists job referrals, resume help and other workforce services at no cost. Some training opportunities are limited to qualified applicants. The county's Career Services page explains the broader offerings and links to Arizona Job Connection's online job-search and resume tools.
Residents can also use the county's Job Seeker Interest Form to request contact about career assistance. Submitting a request should not be treated as a confirmed library appointment. For coach schedules, the City's announcement directs readers to the Pinal County workforce calendar.
The new invitation does not specify an RSVP requirement, an event room or regular drop-in coaching hours. Check the linked City update before attending, particularly if you need an appointment rather than a visit to the ceremony.
OurMaricopa's community calendar offers other local dates to plan around. For additional local assistance beyond employment, the community and public-services directory provides a starting point.
