Maricopa residents planning to attend the City Council meeting Tuesday, Sept. 15, can take it off their calendars. The city has canceled the session because no business was submitted for the agenda. The cancellation is also recorded in the city's official meeting calendar, which marks the Sept. 15 session canceled and has no agenda attached. That is the place to check before heading to City Hall or setting aside time to watch a meeting.
The city's announcement says its rules allow a regular meeting to be canceled when there is no official business and council has already met during the month.
