Dignity Health has added a family-medicine office in Maricopa, giving residents another local option for routine primary care without leaving the city.
The official CommonSpirit Health directory lists Dignity Health Medical Group Family Medicine – Maricopa at 21300 N. John Wayne Parkway, Suite 115. The office phone number is 520-426-3424.
Dignity Health's regional medical-group page identified Aug. 18, 2026, as the location's opening date. The City of Maricopa later listed a Sept. 17 ribbon cutting on its quorum-notice page. The City notice records a public event where multiple council members might attend; it is not a City endorsement or regulatory approval of the medical practice.
What the Maricopa office lists
The location's official service directory includes family medicine, primary care, pediatrics, geriatric medicine, gynecology, men's health, women's health and well-child exams. It also lists obstetrics and gynecology among its service categories.
For routine care, the page identifies annual checkups, immunizations, physicals, sick visits, screenings, laboratory services, chronic-condition management and follow-up after a hospital visit. Patients should still ask the office whether the specific clinician and service they need are available when they want to schedule.
Family medicine is separate from urgent care
Dignity Health also operates a separate urgent-care location in Maricopa at 20750 N. John Wayne Parkway. The two addresses and care models should not be confused.
Family medicine is the location for ongoing primary care: checkups, preventive care, a continuing relationship with a provider and management of routine health needs over time. Dignity Health describes the urgent-care site as a same-day option for non-emergency illnesses and injuries. The urgent-care page lists daily hours of 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., walk-in or scheduled-arrival options, an on-site laboratory and X-ray services.
Those urgent-care hours do not establish the hours of the new family-medicine office. The current family-medicine directory page does not publish office hours, so patients should call before visiting.
For a medical emergency, call 911 rather than relying on either location.
What new patients should bring
The family-medicine page asks new patients to arrive 15 to 30 minutes early for their first appointment. It says to bring a current medication list, insurance card, photo identification and a copayment if one applies.
The health system says the practice accepts most insurance plans, but “most” does not guarantee that every plan, clinician or service is in network. Patients should confirm coverage, referral requirements, appointment availability and expected charges with their insurer and the practice.
